I never planned to start a fragrance business. I was just a guy who loved cologne—maybe a little too much. My collection started with one bottle of Acqua Di Gio, and twelve years later, I had over 200 bottles lining my shelves. My friends called it an obsession. My wife called it a problem. I called it research.
But here's what frustrated me: Every time I discovered a new scent I loved, I'd see the retail price and wince. $150 for 50ml? $300 for something niche? I knew these bottles didn't cost anywhere near that to produce. I started digging into the industry, learning about gray market pricing, overstock channels, and how the fragrance markup system actually works.
That's when it hit me: If I could source authentic fragrances at fair prices for my own collection, why couldn't I do it for others?
Aromatick launched in late 2024 with a simple mission: Make authentic designer and niche fragrances accessible to everyone who shares my passion—without the luxury tax.
