Le Beau's coconut went to the tropics, picked up a fig and some seawater, and came back as a green, salty, woody version of itself that somehow smells better outdoors than it does in the bottle.
Launched in 2024 and also created by Quentin Bisch, Le Beau Paradise Garden takes the coconut-tonka DNA of the original Le Beau and gives it green, salty, woody freshness that makes the whole composition feel like actual proximity to nature rather than a sweet desktop diffuser. The fig note is the defining character: not syrupy or wine-dark but green and slightly milky — the fig before it ripens, slightly tart and genuinely distinctive. Coconut remains present but lighter and saltier than in the original, paired with mint and ginger in the opening for a freshness the original Le Beau never achieved. The tonka-moss base gives the drydown a warm, earthy quality that's more complex and more adult than the purely sweet original. Longevity is genuinely good at 6 to 8 hours on skin with moderate projection and a sillage trail that consistently earns compliments at arm's length. The bottle — emerald green with an embroidered leaf vine — is the best-looking in the Le Beau collection.
Top Notes (0–15 min) Coconut · Ginger · Salty Freshness
A fresh, slightly tropical, and immediately distinctive opening. Coconut leads but it's lighter, saltier, and more natural than the creamier coconut of the original Le Beau. Ginger adds a clean, slightly biting warmth. A salty freshness gives the whole opening a coastal, slightly mineral quality that's new to the Le Beau DNA. The opening is crisper and more interesting than the original.
Heart Notes (20 min–2 hrs) Fig · Mint · Tonka Bean
The fig is the detail that makes Le Beau Paradise Garden genuinely its own fragrance. Green, slightly milky, and faintly tart — it's the note that collectors cite as the defining character of this flanker. Mint adds a refreshing coolness that prevents the tropical sweetness from becoming cloying. Tonka bean begins building the warm, slightly sweet base character. The heart is simultaneously fresh and warm — the balance that makes Paradise Garden more versatile than either the original EDT or Le Parfum.
Base Notes (2 hrs and beyond) Woody Accord · Moss · Sandalwood
An earthy, warm, and moderately long-lasting base. The woody accord provides a clean, dry structure. Moss adds a slightly green, slightly damp earthiness that reinforces the garden concept. Sandalwood contributes warm creaminess. The base is more grounded and more interesting than the original Le Beau's purely sweet tonka drydown. Longevity runs 6 to 8 hours on skin with moderate sillage and stronger-than-expected performance for a fresh-leaning EDP.
The salty coconut-ginger opening is immediately fresh and distinctive. As the fig-mint heart develops, the fragrance reveals its genuine character — tropical but earthy, sweet but green, and genuinely interesting in a way the original Le Beau doesn't always achieve. The woody-moss base is the most pleasant surprise: warm, slightly damp, and genuinely beautiful on skin. Best in spring and summer; versatile enough for date nights across all seasons.
🌿 Fig, salty coconut, and moss — the combination that makes Paradise Garden the most nuanced and genuinely interesting Le Beau in the lineup — the green fig note is the detail that separates Paradise Garden from every other tropical coconut fragrance at this price. It's slightly tart, slightly milky, and completely distinctive.
🌊 The Le Beau that works outdoors as well as it works in a room — the salty freshness and green fig character give Paradise Garden a genuinely outdoor, beach-adjacent quality that the sweeter, denser original Le Beau and Le Parfum lack. It smells like being somewhere rather than wearing something.
🔍 Authenticated. Every batch. — same EDP as Sephora or any JPG-authorized retailer, personally verified through gray market sourcing.
💸 Below retail on the best-reviewed new Le Beau release and one of the most discussed men's fragrances of 2024 — Paradise Garden is consistently full-priced wherever it's stocked. Gray market sourcing is where the straightforward savings appear.
⚡ Spring and summer demand peaks hardest — the salty tropical character makes Paradise Garden the warm-weather standout in the Le Beau family. Moves fastest when the temperature rises.
Who actually buys this: Men who loved Le Beau EDT but wanted something fresher, more complex, and more genuinely outdoorsy. Fig fragrance enthusiasts who want the note in a well-executed tropical context. Collectors who want the most visually striking and most nature-forward bottle in the entire JPG lineup.
