Acqua Di Gio Profondo EDP (50ml) is the same composition as the 100ml in a more travel-friendly format. The deeper, more sophisticated expression of the ADG profile β bergamot and sea notes opening, rosemary and aromatic herb heart, mineral-and-amber base. For collectors who want to evaluate Profondo before committing to the larger format, the 50ml is the right entry.

This scent is very fresh and light. It holds its fragrance through the day but itβs not overpowering. Hints of citrus and bergamot can be detected. Itβs a great classy option for any man.
Acqua di GiΓ² Profondo has moderate longevity and projection. Overspraying can help with projection for the first hour or two. This perfume blends salty marine notes, cypress, lavender, and rosemary with a subtle patchouli. While marketed as a men's fragrance, it can be worn by women who like a bold unisex scent profiles leaning slightly masculine. This fragrance is clean, salty and uplifting- definitely geared more towards summer, but I feel you can get away with wearing it in the Fall. It's also more of a daytime scent.
Top notes are Sea Notes, Aquozone, Bergamot and Green Mandarin; middle notes are Rosemary, Lavender, Cypress and Lentisque; base notes are Mineral notes, Musk, Patchouli and Amber.

I've worn Acqua di Gio off and on for much of my adult life. This Profondo is a great update on a classic. It seems stronger than the original and a little bit goes a long way with this one. I get all day smell off of one spray. The citrus notes are still great and the woodsy smells at the end make for a great combo. It's a good size bottle and the lid is magnetic which is actually cooler than it sounds. It's a nice touch that makes it feel very premium.
The newest flanker is a bit redundant but definitely different than the prior releases.It mainly sweeter and stronger but still mostly a spring and summer fragrance and not as versatile as some of the other releases.Grrat for evening fragrance at a costal bar or restaurant.You fit right in without being overly strong and stand out.If you are a fan of the lineup and a completist itβs worth picking up but there are others in the lineup that are superior. I would choose the non Profondo Parfum over this version,decent value and a pleasant aroma for some people but not the best choice in my opinion.
