The fragrance is persistent. It starts off with sweet and spicy overtones, then settles into a sort of vanilla mellowness. Undertones of lavender and pepper. It seems strong to me, so two or three sprays is more than enough to get me through 6 to 8 hours. Projection is decent for 3.5 hours or so, after that the aromas stay nearby. Which is fine because I like it.

Of all of the Lattafa scents I have amassed, this one is hands down, my favorite. In the gourmand family, I love it more than Eclair. The sweetness is more subtle and not so candy like. Of the amber/vanilla combos, the vanilla is not the forward note, so it does lean unisex; probably male of center. With that, I'm a woman and I LOVE it. I can't say I recognize whatever the bourbon notes are, but this scent evokes warm embraces, snuggles, and seductive comfort. I like it for cool weather and would save the citrusy florals for summer and day wear. It layers amazingly with earthy-scented lotions (vanilla, cashmere, coconut, cocoa butter, etc.) Ironic how this is the one that sat in my cart the longest before I pulled the trigger.
