Best perfume for men ever made

My go-to warm weather fragrance from now on. It's so clean and fresh but there's a softness to the drydown that keeps it from smelling like generic cologne. I tried a decant and within a week I ordered more. Can't say enough good things.

Sea salt, lemon, iris. If you want something that smells like a luxury yacht trip this is it. Clean and crisp but still feels refined. I've tried a lot of aquatics and this is at the top. Decant arrived fast and packaged really well.

I'll be straight, I almost didn't order this decant because I've smelled Millesime Imperial on strips enough times to think I knew what it was. A clean aquatic. Nice but safe. What I didn't account for is what it does on skin over time.

First hour is exactly what you expect. Citrus, fresh, ocean air. Classic Creed opening. Then it shifts. The iris comes in and suddenly it's not just clean, it's refined in a way that's hard to explain without sounding pretentious, but there's a reason this thing has lasted 30 years in the lineup. The dry down on my skin went full warm musk and ambergris and it just sat there quietly doing its job for hours. No performance beast. No projection monster. This is the fragrance you wear when you don't need to announce yourself.

This bottle is my third of Millesime Imperial and my largest, and most expensive. For the record, the bottle is real, box is real, and there's no worry about that. The fragrance is a fruity oceanic gold honey ray of sunlight that's like nothing else. I'll leave that review to other sources because many exist.What bears mentioning is that this perfume, new out of the bottle takes, um, a process to smell right.As I'm sure you've noticed there are a lot of reviews calling it unscented alcohol on first spray and sending it back. We'll they're correct to a point.When I sprayed mine, I got nothing like the last whiffs of my old bottle with its deep amber golden notes. It was thin, alcohol heavy, and smelled like a cheap discount store cologne...and I got a little worried.Then I remembered that I had the exact same problem with my old bottle, compared to the bottle before THAT. Yeah, the "deep amber golden notes" bottle? Same beggining.So I sprayed five or six full sprays to get anything old out of the vaporizer, and then I let the bottle sit for a few days. Trying it again in a couple days, the harsh scent was still there, but the notes that I remembered were starting to appear. A couple more days, and still yet better.Today I went to use it now a couple weeks old, and all is as it should be. Millesime Imperial. Detectable four hours after applying. Btw I think that sileage starts short, and as the perfume matures over years, the amber base notes get stronger, and so does its longevity. Eventually it has epic lasting power, at least with my body chemistry.The scent is weird in that it has to mature for a week or two. I don't know if it's that oxygen needs to get to the perfume and react, or excess vapors are making their way into the vaporizer at first? But it can start out smelling like a $5 rancid spray from a 100% genuine unspoiled bottle. Is this a hassle, yes. Is this a long term investment? Yes. Do I think it's worth it? 100% absolutely.Just get sprays out of it, let it come to life, and DON'T PANIC.

Smells amazing

I’m kindly urging Creed to make this product last longer. It only lasts a couple of hours and that’s a maybe. Longevity absolutely Sucks!It’s an amazing fragrance and the reason I’m making this appeal to Creed is that the longevity of the Millesime Imperial is the only thing keeping me from throwing my other fragrances in the trash.

Amazing smell

Does not last long enough! For the price you would expect it to last all day but it only lasts few hours.

Great perfume last long your body for days

So...the smell is crisp, clean, and my girls like it. However...this has very limited staying power. Paid a hefty price, and am disappointed after about 2 hours. Sprayed it on neck, cheeks, forearms and stomach. Then shirt. After a couple hours, I could only smell the Tide beads from the wash. I cannot recommend this cologne, especially for the cost. On to the next.

The perfume smells good, like the original, however, there is no code under the perfume bottle and under the spray cap it’s not white as it should be. Either it’s a very old stock or it’s a well done copy copy.

I never tried CREED Millesime Imperial, so when I sprayed it on, it took me a minute to realize this is actually NEW to me.When I first applied it before heading out, I realized hours later that there was still a really, REALLY soft scent surrounding me. Yeah, it was what I had sprayed on hours before I left the house. It is also an amazing scent.It has now become, yet another one of my favorite fragrances. So much so, that I also purchased CREED Silver Mountain Water, which is my actual Top Choice of the three, and CREED Aventus. If you like CREED, then this fragrance here is another GEM!

Wonderful and not overpowering perfume. Nicely balanced / fresh smell that lasts well. My favourite version of Creed so far

Great scent, if only the fragrance lasted more than a few hours! Purchased from Neiman Marcus. Too hefty a price for it not to last all day, or at least a few hours.

They need to make this product more oil-based so it will last longer
