Paradoxe is one of those rare designer releases that perfumistas and casual wearers both respect. The hook is the contrast: a fresh, juicy pear-and-neroli opening sitting on top of a base that's distinctly modern — Ambrofix and Serenolide rather than the heavy oud-and-patchouli bases that dominated the last decade. It reads "expensive" without trying.
