Meet Aura (2026): Our Louis Vuitton Météore–Inspired Eau de Parfum
I've collected fragrance for twelve years, and I founded Aromatick to sell authentic decants of the scents I love. Aura is the newest fragrance we've released under our own name, and like Horizon, we compound it ourselves. Here's what it is, what it isn't, and how to find out whether it works on you before you spend $44.99.
What is Aura?
Aura is an eau de parfum made by Aromatick and released on October 15, 2026. Its style is the one Louis Vuitton made famous with Météore: sparkling mandarin lit up by pepper, settling into clean, dry vetiver. It's a citrus with real energy, and it feels put-together all day.
| Profile | Details |
|---|---|
| Top | Mandarin orange, orange, bergamot: sparkling, juicy, bright |
| Heart | Pink pepper, black pepper, Sichuan pepper, neroli, nutmeg, cardamom: tingling, aromatic, warm-spicy |
| Base | Vetiver: dry, clean, woody |
| Family | Citrus aromatic · fresh spicy · woody |
| Concentration | Eau de parfum (20% fragrance concentrate) |
| Inspired by | Louis Vuitton Météore (2020, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud) |
Why we made it
Météore became a modern signature scent for a lot of men, and its price is what stops most people from wearing it every day. Louis Vuitton's US site lists it at $360 for 100ml as of October 2026.
Paying more for LV is a fair choice. It gets you Jacques Cavallier Belletrud's composition, the refillable bottle and the boutique experience. But much of a luxury fragrance's price pays for the name, the campaigns and the flagship stores, not the liquid inside. (We break that down in why Louis Vuitton fragrances are so expensive.) Aura is our answer for people who want that citrus-pepper-vetiver feel as their everyday scent at a price they can reorder without thinking about it.
What it smells like, hour by hour
First 20 minutes: mandarin orange, orange & bergamot
The ignition: juicy, sparkling citrus with a little bitterness from the bergamot. It's bright and clean, and the pepper is already peeking through underneath.
20 minutes to 2 hours: the pepper trio, neroli, nutmeg & cardamom
This is the heart of Aura and its real star. Pink pepper is bright and rosy, black pepper is sharp, and Sichuan pepper has that tingling, citrusy buzz you can almost feel. Neroli adds a soft floral lift, and nutmeg and cardamom warm the whole thing up.
2 hours onward: vetiver
The base settles into dry, clean vetiver: woody, a little earthy, and very tailored. The spice stays close above it, so the dry-down reads like a crisp shirt rather than a perfume.
Aura vs. Météore: an honest comparison
I'm not going to claim Aura is identical. Nobody outside Louis Vuitton has their formula, and anyone who says they've matched it exactly is selling you something. Here's what you can expect side by side:
| Aura | Météore | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $44.99 / 50ml | $360 / 100ml |
| Price per ml | ≈ $0.90 | ≈ $3.60 |
| Opening | Mandarin orange, orange, bergamot | Sicilian mandarin, bergamot (per LV and Parfumo) |
| Heart | Pink, black & Sichuan pepper, neroli, nutmeg, cardamom | Pink, black & Sichuan pepper, neroli, nutmeg, cardamom, lavender |
| Dry-down | Vetiver | Java vetiver |
| Key notes | Mandarin, pink pepper, vetiver | Mandarin, lavender, Sichuan pepper (LV's official list) |
| Bottle | 50ml glass bottle in a black gift tube | Refillable LV bottle |
| Made by | Aromatick, Port St. Lucie, FL | Louis Vuitton, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud |
Where they line up: almost the whole structure. Both open on mandarin and bergamot, light up with the same three peppers, neroli, nutmeg and cardamom, and finish on vetiver. If you like Météore for that sparkling citrus-spice energy, Aura follows it.
Where they differ: Louis Vuitton names lavender as one of Météore's three key notes, which gives the original a more aromatic, clean-shaven lift. Aura doesn't use lavender, so it reads a little more citrus-and-pepper forward, with the vetiver doing more of the work in the base.
Performance & longevity
Aura is rated for 7+ hours on skin, and longer on clothing. It's brightest in the first hour, then settles into a close spice-and-vetiver aura that people notice at hugging or handshake distance. Three to four sprays to the neck, chest and wrists is plenty.
When to wear it
Aura works year-round, and it's especially good in spring, summer and early fall. It's office-safe, and it works for dates, dinners, travel and weekends. It's built in the style of a men's fragrance, like Météore, but anyone who loves citrus and spice can wear it.
How it's made (and how we check it's safe)
We compound Aura from scratch, then bottle and label it in small batches in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Here's what that means in practice:
- True eau de parfum strength: 20% fragrance concentrate in perfumer's alcohol, with no water added. (Not sure what that means? See EDT vs. EDP.)
- IFRA compliant: as the compounder, Aromatick checks the formula against the IFRA Standards (51st Amendment) for fine fragrance and issues its own certificate. The public IFRA certificate and EU allergen declaration are linked on the Aura product page.
- Full ingredient disclosure: the complete ingredient list, including the naturally occurring allergens in its essential oils, is on the product page. We follow EU labeling rules, which go further than US rules require. If you have a known fragrance sensitivity, patch-test first.

A launch post that only lists positives isn't much help, so here's who should skip it:
- If the Louis Vuitton bottle is part of the appeal. The refillable bottle and the name on the glass are real value that Aura doesn't try to replace.
- If lavender is what you love about Météore. Aura doesn't use it. If that aromatic lift is the point for you, stick with the original.
- If you want room-filling projection. Aura is a close-to-moderate projector after the first hour.
- If you want sweet or cozy. Aura stays crisp, spicy and dry. For warm citrus and tea, Daydream is the better match.
The rest of the Aromatick Originals
Aura is one of four eau de parfums in the Aromatick Originals collection, all at the same prices:
- Horizon: grapefruit, ginger and Ambroxan, inspired by L'Immensité. Read the launch post.
- Daydream: citron, black tea and Ambroxan, inspired by Imagination. Read the launch post.
- Meridian: mandarin, ginger and ambergris, inspired by Afternoon Swim. Read the launch post.

FAQ
What does Aromatick Aura smell like?
A sparkling citrus spice. Mandarin, orange and bergamot open it, a heart of pink, black and Sichuan pepper with neroli, nutmeg and cardamom gives it a tingling energy, and a dry vetiver base makes it feel tailored.
Does Aura smell like Louis Vuitton Météore?
It's inspired by Météore and follows the same arc: bright mandarin, a peppery heart, a vetiver finish. It isn't identical. Louis Vuitton names lavender as one of Météore's three key notes, which gives the original a more aromatic, clean-shaven lift. Aura has no lavender and leans harder on its pepper trio and vetiver.
How long does Aura last?
7+ hours on skin and longer on clothing. It's brightest in the first hour, then settles into a close spice-and-vetiver aura that's noticeable up close.
Is Aura an eau de parfum?
Yes. Aura is an eau de parfum with a 20% fragrance concentrate in perfumer's alcohol and no added water. It's compounded from scratch, bottled and labeled by Aromatick in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and meets the IFRA Standards (51st Amendment) for fine fragrance.
How much does Aura cost compared to Météore?
Aura is $44.99 for 50ml, about $0.90 per ml, with smaller sizes from $8.99 for 5ml. As of October 2026, Louis Vuitton's US site lists Météore at $360 for 100ml, about $3.60 per ml.
Is Aura a men's fragrance?
It's built in the style of a men's fragrance, like Météore, but anyone who loves citrus and spice can wear it.
The bottom line
Aura is our take on one of the best citrus-spice profiles in modern perfumery: sparkling mandarin, a tingle of three peppers, and a clean vetiver finish. It's compounded in-house at eau de parfum strength, IFRA-checked, and priced at about a quarter of Météore per ml. It isn't Louis Vuitton, and it skips the lavender. If the scent matters more to you than the logo, try the 5ml for $8.99 before you buy the full 50ml.
