Meet Daydream (2026): Our Louis Vuitton Imagination–Inspired Eau de Parfum
I've collected fragrance for twelve years, and I founded Aromatick to sell authentic decants of the scents I love. Daydream was the first fragrance we put our own name on, and it's still the one I reach for most. Here's what it is, what it isn't, and how to find out whether it works on you before you spend $44.99.
What is Daydream?
Daydream is an eau de parfum from Aromatick, released on August 31, 2026. Its style is the one Louis Vuitton made famous with Imagination: sparkling citrus up top, a smooth black tea and ginger warmth in the middle, and a glowing Ambroxan base. It's bright when you spray it and warm by lunchtime.

Why we made it
Imagination is one of the most-requested scents we sell, and its price is what stops most people from wearing it every day. Louis Vuitton's US site lists it at $360 for 100ml as of October 2026. Even our authentic decant works out to about $6 per ml, because a decant has to carry the cost of that boutique bottle.
Paying more for LV is a fair choice. It gets you Jacques Cavallier Belletrud's composition, the refillable bottle and the boutique experience. But much of a luxury fragrance's price pays for the name, the campaigns and the flagship stores, not the liquid inside. (We break that down in why Louis Vuitton fragrances are so expensive.) Daydream is our answer for people who want that citrus-tea-amber feel as their everyday scent at a price they can reorder without thinking about it.
What it smells like, hour by hour
First 20 minutes: Sicilian lemon, Calabrian bergamot & orange
The first spray is clean, sparkling citrus: lemon peel, bergamot's soft bitterness and a little sweet orange. It's the bright part that wakes you up, and it's meant to settle quickly so the tea can come through.
20 minutes to 2 hours: black tea, ginger & cinnamon
This is where Daydream gets its character. A smooth black tea accord rounds the citrus off, Nigerian ginger adds a gentle heat, and a touch of cinnamon bark warms it without making it sweet. It smells like a cup of strong tea with lemon on a cold morning.
2 hours onward: Ambroxan, guaiac wood & white musks
The base is where the compliments come from. Ambroxan gives a clean, mineral warmth that smells more like great skin than perfume, guaiac wood adds a dry, slightly smoky depth, and white musks keep it soft. There's a lot of Ambroxan in Daydream, on purpose.
Daydream vs. Imagination: an honest comparison
I'm not going to claim Daydream is identical. Nobody outside Louis Vuitton has their formula, and anyone who says they've matched it exactly is selling you something. Here's what you can expect side by side:
| Daydream | Imagination | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $44.99 / 50ml | $360 / 100ml |
| Price per ml | ≈ $0.90 | ≈ $3.60 |
| Opening | Sicilian lemon, Calabrian bergamot, orange | Citron, Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian orange |
| Heart | Black tea accord, ginger, cinnamon bark | Neroli, ginger, cinnamon |
| Dry-down | Ambroxan, guaiac wood, white musks | Black tea, Ambroxan, guaiac wood, olibanum |
| Bottle | 50ml glass bottle in a black gift tube | Refillable LV bottle |
| Made by | Aromatick, Port St. Lucie, FL | Louis Vuitton, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud |
Where they line up: the overall shape. Both open on bright citrus, warm up with tea and ginger, and finish on Ambroxan and guaiac wood. If you like Imagination for that sunny-then-warm arc, Daydream follows it.
Where they differ: Imagination lists neroli in its heart and olibanum (frankincense) in its base, which give the original a slightly more floral, incense-tinged edge. Daydream leaves those out and adds white musks, so it reads a touch softer and cleaner, with the tea showing up earlier.
Performance & longevity
Daydream is rated for 8+ hours on skin, and longer on clothing, because the Ambroxan base holds on. Projection is moderate: people notice it at hugging or handshake distance, and it won't fill a room. Three to four sprays to the neck, chest and wrists is plenty.
When to wear it
Daydream works year-round. The citrus top suits warm days, and the tea-and-amber heart holds up in fall and winter. It's office-safe, works for dates and travel, and is easy to wear every day. It's sold as unisex, and the citrus-tea-amber profile wears that way.
How it's made (and how we check it's safe)
We blend, bottle and label Daydream by hand in small batches in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Here's what that means in practice:
- True eau de parfum strength: 20% fragrance concentrate in perfumer's alcohol, with no water added. (Not sure what that means? See EDT vs. EDP.)
- IFRA compliant: Daydream meets the IFRA Standards (51st Amendment) for fine fragrance. The IFRA certificate, the EU allergen declaration and the safety data sheet are all linked on the Daydream product page.
- Full ingredient disclosure: the complete ingredient list, including the declared allergens, is on the product page. We follow EU labeling rules, which go further than US rules require. If you have a known fragrance sensitivity, patch-test first.

A launch post that only lists positives isn't much help, so here's who should skip it:
- If the Louis Vuitton bottle is part of the appeal. The refillable bottle and the name on the glass are real value that Daydream doesn't try to replace. Buy Imagination, or wear our authentic decant.
- If you want room-filling projection. Daydream is a close-to-moderate projector. If you want people to smell you from across the room, look elsewhere.
- If Ambroxan doesn't work on you. A small number of people barely smell Ambroxan, and others find it sharp. Start with the 5ml.
- If you want something greener or more aquatic. For bitter grapefruit and herbs, Horizon is the better match. For a pool-day citrus, try Meridian.
The rest of the Aromatick Originals
Daydream is one of four eau de parfums in the Aromatick Originals collection, all at the same prices:

FAQ
What does Aromatick Daydream smell like?
A warm citrus amber. Sicilian lemon, Calabrian bergamot and orange open it, a black tea accord with Nigerian ginger and cinnamon bark forms a smooth, gently spicy heart, and Ambroxan, guaiac wood and white musks make a warm, radiant base.
Does Daydream smell like Louis Vuitton Imagination?
It's inspired by Imagination and follows the same arc: bright citrus, black tea and ginger warmth, an Ambroxan dry-down. It isn't identical. Imagination also lists neroli and olibanum, which give the original a slightly more floral, incense-tinged edge, while Daydream adds white musks and reads a touch softer. The best test is to wear a 5ml of each side by side.
How long does Daydream last?
8+ hours on skin and longer on clothing, with moderate projection that's noticeable up close. Applying after a shower and adding one spray on fabric helps it last longest.
Is Daydream an eau de parfum?
Yes. Daydream is an eau de parfum with a 20% fragrance concentrate in perfumer's alcohol and no added water. It's blended, bottled and labeled by hand by Aromatick in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and its IFRA certificate, allergen declaration and safety data sheet are on the product page.
How much does Daydream cost compared to Imagination?
Daydream is $44.99 for 50ml, about $0.90 per ml, with smaller sizes from $8.99 for 5ml. As of October 2026, Louis Vuitton's US site lists Imagination at $360 for 100ml, about $3.60 per ml.
Is Daydream unisex?
Yes. Its citrus, tea and amber profile wears well on anyone, and it's sold as a unisex fragrance.
The bottom line
Daydream is our take on one of the best citrus-amber profiles in modern perfumery: bright lemon and bergamot, a smooth black tea and ginger heart, and a warm Ambroxan glow. It's blended by hand at eau de parfum strength, IFRA-checked, and priced at about a quarter of Imagination per ml. It isn't Louis Vuitton, and it skips the neroli and incense. If the scent matters more to you than the logo, try the 5ml for $8.99 before you buy the full 50ml.
