I don't know why, but I feel like this fragrance is kind of a classic smell? It's got a crisp citrusy bite to it with woody undertones that compliment each other very well. The bottle itself looks great and has held up very well. A couple quick squirts into the air and a couple steps through the mist has me smelling nice for hours. Even with daily use, I see this bottle lasting a *very* long time due to how little it takes to get effective results that last a long time. Love it!

This scent is nice cool, citrusy, and green. It's very refreshing and dries down to a more sweet scent. It has great lasting power and the bottle is beautiful. Would make a great gift and would be an agreeable scent for anyone

Hello everyone,Fragrances are subjective, but with a trusted brand like Ralph Lauren, I wanted to put this one to the test with my sons and boy they sure had very different things to say… One of them is more inclined to try new things and although wasn’t a huge fan of the scent that in his words has a “strong earthy musk, with a lingering masculine smell of fig leaves, initially is reminiscent of freshly cut grass.” He thought that the most noticeable feature was how long the scent lasted on him. He wore it through jogs, runs, or simply sitting down for long periods and after many hours, it smelled as if it was freshly applied, a great thing if the scent is to your liking. My other son, who typically sticks to the scents he knows and enjoys, raved about it and although less vocal, suggested to apply it conservatively as he thought it was a bit strong. He would just spray it in the air instead of directly on clothes and agreed on its long lasting quality. Another topic they both gave some thought about was pricing and concurred that like scents, what's considered low or elevated price is subjective. They took into consideration the size 4.2. oz, the brand, longevity and agreed they will recommend it for those who enjoy strong, masculine colognes.Thank you for reading my review!

I love a good men's cologne and Ralph Lauren's Polo is absolutely one of the best! I am old enough to remember when Ralph Lauren first released this fragrance, and in my opinion, it smells even better than the original! The scent is long-lasting and memorable without being overpowering. The woodsy fragrance with a slight scent of patchouli as a bass note gives it warmth.The price is a little higher than what most men want to pay for fragrance, but a little bit goes a very long way and this classic is definitely worth it!

This cologne smells great. It has an earthy citrusy masculine scent that lasts for about 5-6 hours. Both my husband and son like this cologne so this would be a nice gift for a variety of ages. I do think the price is marked up a bit high by some sellers. If you shop around you can find the 4.2 ounce bottle priced anywhere between 70-100 dollars.

Longevity of the cologne is great - lasts for a long time and scent is good. Scent profile leans a little more on the mature end. Worth a try if you like woody, masculine scents.

I bought this perfume as a New Year gift for my husband. He loved it. The bottle is very elegant and beautiful. It has a very elegant aroma, it lasts a long time, it has a very long aftertaste and it is really a very good perfume for winter. However, this fragrance is too strong, and may not be suitable for those who like fresh and elegant.

Smell is perfect.. This has a musky smell which is my favorite on a man. Very symbolic of the classic Polo Cologne..Lasts a very long time.. Very Happy!

Ralph Lauren Polo Intense is a fragrance both my fiancé and I can't get enough of. The combination of citrus and woody elements is simply wonderful. I ordered for my boyfriend who isn’t a fan of any cologne. Surprisingly, he loved it. Has the classic Polo smell that is recognizable but also fresh. I was worried the patchouli would be overpowering but it isn’t. It smells fresh, masculine and I love how it smells on him!

This is a very high quality fragrance that has managed to include beautiful bright fruity notes with hints of sage,patchouli and wood. It is very potent and you do not need a lot. It has amazing lasting power as well.

My husband has previously used colognes from Ralph Lauren, but given that he wore those scents in college, they were too reminiscent of his younger days. Very nice cologne! It starts out with a very fresh lightly sweet scent and is followed by some earthy slightly musky base notes. I definitely pick upon the patchouli the longer it's on the skin. The scent also lasts a good part of the day so it's definitely a nice cologne and I'm happy with it.

I sprayed this on my wrist and asked my husband what he thought, "you smell like a man". It definitely has a masculine scent. The description mentions grapefruit but I'm not detecting it. I have a hard time describing this scent, but it's very pleasant. It reminds me of the perfume counter in a high end department store. I'm going to tuck away all my husband's other scents and put this one front and center.

This fragrance smells like the bathroom of someone who showered and brushed their teeth. It's a very minty fresh kind of fragrance with some woods/herbal/green notes to balance it out. But even with all the woodsy notes, it's still light, airy and fresh.I really love it, and it lasts all day. It may not be projecting the whole time, but I can definitely catch whiffs even after 6-8 hours.I really recommend trying this fragrance :)
