This is the “From the Garden” fragrance from Maison Margiela line. I have been using this for a few weeks and love the smell. This scent is nice and relaxing as if you are walking through a dense garden. This scent is a little earthy with a hint of moss. This scent at first does smell like tomatoes and then slowly starts to smell like a garden. I found this scent to be perfect for the day as it is not overpowering. The floral scent is nice when going out for work or normal chores. The notes do linger around for the entire day and you get a slight hint of the scent the next day if applied medium to heavy. This did not irritate my skin nor did it leave any rashes. Overall, this is a wonderful scent that is different from your typical scents. This is refreshing and complex at the same time. I would give this scent 5-stars and highly recommend this if you are looking for a unique scent to add to your collection of fragrances.

This has to be one of the most realistic and interesting perfumes that I've ever smelled. I've been a fan of this house for many years and love so many of their fragrances. When I saw the notes on this I knew that I had to have it. When you spray it, it instantly puts you pulling the tomatoes from the vine in your garden. I picture being barefoot and smelling the fresh earth below your feet. It really smells like the green vine and the dirt. I don't know how they are able to replicate that smell, but they did. I feel like it's slightly overpriced for the size of the bottle that you get but I'm reserving this as a collector's bottle and keeping it for nostalgic reasons. I can't say that I want to walk around smelling like the scent but I love that I have it now. The bottles are always classic looking and look great displayed on a shelf. This might be a perfect gift for any perfume enthusiast or that special gardener in your life.

I didn't really know what to expect from Maison Margiela From the Garden Eau de Toilette. The description of tomato leaf is unusual to say the least. The tomato leaf extract give this fragrance a unique, memorable scent that is moderate and not overpowering. I find myself missing when it's gone.This is an interesting mix of scents. Patchouli oil combines a strong, earthy scent with its musky essential oil. The green mandarin gives a crispy citrus feel. Geranium brings a soft flower scent into the mix. And then there's the tomato leaf. I'm officially a fan. It's hard to describe until you smell it, but this fragrance practically teleports you into a pleasant and wet fresh Spring garden. As such, it fits very well with active daytimes and outdoor situations, and wearing it in autumn feels natural regardless of the season of the year. Others have noticed and asked me about my perfume, and I'm finding that it's popular at my workplace. In my case, I find it pleasing 24/7.Another thing I noticed was that the fragrance seemed to linger for a good length of time. This makes me happy, as I have had other scents that seemed to fade much too quickly. Given the lovely, fresh smell with this fragrance, it's great that it stays with me longer than others. I've noticed that a little spritz goes a long way... I initially thought that the 30ml/one ounce bottle would go fast, but that's not the case. I feel that this makes this a very good value.

If you love garden like scents or fresh green fragrances that stand apart from typical florals or gourmands, this one’s worth a sniff. Maison Margiela's By The Fireplace is one of my favorite unisex fragrances ergo I leaped at the chance to try this perfume for myself. I'm very happy I did, even though I'm usually more of a gourmand fragrance over-enthusiast.As per Fragrantica, the top notes are tomato leaf and green citrus. The middle note is geranium is patchouli. I could tell right away that this was the legitimate and authentic Maison Margiela Replica perfume. No fakes here.From the Garden starts out strong. At first spray, this fragrance opens with very bright, fresh garden, which I assume is the tomato leaf. It smells like and crushing fragrant green leaves as you sit in a garden. As it dries down, I do get more of a floral and earthy note.Even though I could smell it on my arm for a good 7 hours, it started to become more of a skin scent on hour 4 or so. The price is decent for a 1 ounce designer fragrance, very much the same as the designer's other scents.I rec this fragrance is you are into green earthy scents. You won't be disappointed.

This review is for a 1oz bottle of Replicas From The Garden. My first thought after the initial spray was "wow, this is way more woody than I was expecting" which I assume is the patchouli. I was expecting straight up tomato vine. I definitely get the tomato notes, but it's a very earthy, mossy scent. Barely any sweetness. The notes are Tomato Leaf, Green Mandarin, Geranium, Patchouli (what's green mandarin?) The dry down sweetens up just a tad, what you are left with smells straight up leather to me. It's definitely interesting - not your usual fragrance and far from many of the gourmand, sugar bombs that are on the market right now. I think it would be great for layering, for me with something maybe vanilla or tonka. The price seems steep for this 1 oz bottle, especially for an EDT and not an EDP.

It feels like quiet luxury, subtle projection while smelling high quality, but a tad pricey for a small bottle. I’d try it in-store first and, if you like it, grab the smaller size. For me, it’s slightly too niche for everyday use. Definitely for the natural hippy boho girls in the spring/summer season if I had to pin it.Still, it’s excellent and extremely realistic.

I love the whole concept of this perfume line. It is meant to draw you in to a different time period, bringing about warm memories of the past. Fragrances have always conjured memories for me and I was excited to see what this would make me think of.This scent is definitely earthy and somewhat musky, yet fresh. It has a vintage vibe for sure and reminds me of being in my grandparents’ garden when I was young. I find the scent very inviting.To use this, you only need just a small spray. It is long lasting and potent. I think this is a unique, quality scent that is sure to stand out!

The perfume smells pleasant overall. I can't quite pinpoint every note, but I pick up a clear citrus opening with orange being the most prominent. There are floral tones of lavender and jasmine, along with a mild creamy vanilla base. I didn't notice the earthy notes mentioned on the bottle, though there's a faint hint of tomato leaf in the background.The presentation, however, could be better. I wasn't familiar with this brand before, and when I opened the package, the box and bottle design made me think it might be a replica of another perfume. A more refined presentation would help it match the quality of the scent inside.

This perfume is very strong and it does last awhile. The scent is very strong floral and vintage, like a strong perfume from the 1970s. It doesn't suit my tastes and seems outdated for a scent, not nearly as light and airy as many higher end perfumes today. The bottle is small and I don't feel it's a good value for the money, unless you really enjoy the strong vintage scent. I don't smell tomatoes nor geraniums, just heavy cheap floral. Would not buy again.

The packaging on this is minimalistic and quant. It's a full 1oz and has a very unique scent notes. It's basically just geraniums and musk, giving it a musky, floral scent. It's not a bad fragrance, but I'm not that big of a fan of floral scents. It's leaning more toward a vintage scent that some would equate to 'old lady' scent. It lasts a few hours but after that you don't really get any whiffs of fragrance. If you like heavier, vintage floral scents, this one hits all the notes. For me, it's a bit too old fashioned and a bit too pricey for what I normally buy and wear.

I'm not really finding any disadvantages except that the cost is a lot. It does have a nice pleasant scent, although I'm not sure that it reminds me of our garden or tomatoes necessarily... I think I can find hints of garden and tomatoes in it. I can't tell if it's authentic like the real thing, as I have not spent the money on the real stuff. As far as this replica goes it seems like they did a good job, and it does last throughout the day. Other than not being able to tell us authenticity I think they did a good job in creating this scent and is in enclosed nice bottle with a rope winding near the sprayer.

This perfume has a nice, subtle scent, not overpowering. I have no idea where they get the idea it smells of garden...I grow tomatoes and don't smell anything even resembling them in this...to my nose, it has more of a 'first spring bloom roses' kinda smell. A little bit goes a long way, too; 2 depresses of the aerator 1 to the throat and 1 shared between wrists and I could smell it on my wife all day.

Maison Margiela Replicia from the garden edt. Well if you love the smell of Tomato Leaf and green mandarin you will love this fragrance. Picture yourself in a garden or the produce section at a flea market. The notes are simple geraniums and white musk but the smell is an acquired taste. I recommend this to anyone who is a garden lover. Projection is good for the first hour. Longevity maybe 2-3 hours tops? This is not for everyone. 45 and over. I can't imagine anyone young really liking this fragrance. But it definitely does live up to the name "Garden".

This is an acquired scent that leans towards floral. The packaging is very cute, and it comes in a convenient travel-size bottle. I applied it at 8:30 a.m., and by 3:30 p.m. I could still catch hints of the fragrance. If you enjoy fresh floral scents, you’ll likely appreciate this one

Sure, it has other notes in it as well but that tomato vine scent is power here. And I’m here for it! Authentic tomato vine scent. Other notes of patchouli, geranium and green mandarin. Definitely smell the geranium as well. Longevity and projection are long and strong just like all other replica scents. VERY VERY interesting scent! I would like to say its very powerful, one squirt stays on clothes for a day or two. Also this is a scent that you do not i repeat do NOT go nose blind too. So if you get headaches from smelling cologne all day this one will do it. Very sweet scent but the Tomatoes leaf adds an interesting spin. I will say at first i didn't like but i kept wearing it as it matured and my opinion changed drastically. Suited for colder weather and again 1 spray is enough.
