I have the original Eros and now Eros energy. I must say that energy smells significantly better than the original Eros which is saying a lot considering how great a scent the original Eros is. I love the citrus scent in Energy, it projects nicely and it lasts for a long time without spraying another spray on me. I highly recommend this for everyone.

Prominent lemon, orange and grapefruit at the start (that, I expected). It's a very bright, tangy citrus, but also balanced with some sweetness which is necessary. The middle is very hard to detect, but you can smell some florals in it, but primarily Energy is about the top notes and base (patchouli, oak moss, wood). You hear a lot about how this smells similar to Aventus Cologne, and yes, the middle and base dry down notes do smell somewhat similar to Aventus Cologne. There's a missing component in Aventus Cologne that is not here, but there is definitely a similarity. Overall, really like the drydown notes on this. They were unexpected to me as I was thinking this was a straight-through citrus bomb. The heart and base are critical to make this is a legitimate, multi-layered fragrance.
Performance is also very good (6-8 hours with medium sillage). I'm happy!
