Radical Essence is the most polarizing Paradoxe — and probably the most interesting. Prada's perfumers took the family's neroli signature and crossed it with a gourmand note (salted pistachio) that no major designer has built a fragrance around. It either reads as genuinely innovative or genuinely weird, depending on the wearer.
Here's the test: if you smell the dry-down on a blotter and want to take another sniff, you'll wear this. If you're indifferent, the pistachio probably isn't for you. The sandalwood base is the safety net — even people who don't love the pistachio still tend to like the dry-down, which is creamy, woody, and very wearable.
This is a Parfum-strength fragrance, so it behaves differently than the EDPs: less projection, more longevity, and the note structure is more linear (it doesn't shift dramatically through the day). Great for someone who wants a signature scent that's recognizable without screaming for attention.
