The Le Male Elixir comparison is the community's most consistent reference point for Royal and earns careful engagement. Le Male Elixir — Quentin Bisch's 2023 composition for JPG — deploys lavender, mint, honey, and tobacco in a warm, slightly gourmand, highly projective composition. Royal shares the lavender-benzoin-warm aromatic architecture with Elixir at a surface level, and "smells almost fully identical to Le Male Elixir" from the Fragrantica reviewer who drew the comparison directly.
