Born in Roma Uomo landed in 2019 and did something mass designer launches rarely do: it led with an accord most men's fragrances avoid. Mineral notes and salt up top, violet leaf for a green snap, ginger and sage in the heart, and a smoky vetiver base that feels more Mediterranean coastline than barbershop. Perfumers Antoine Maisondieu and Guillaume Flavigny kept it wearable — and that tension between "unusual" and "easy" is exactly why it became a best-seller.
Its real legacy is the family it spawned. Coral Fantasy (2022) bends it toward red apple and tobacco. Yellow Dream (2021) goes sunny with pineapple and gingerbread. Green Stravaganza (2024) puts coffee over the vetiver. The Intense EDP (2023) strips it back to vanilla, lavandin and vetiver. Smell the original first — it makes every flanker easier to understand.
